PDX911 started as an exercise to familiarize myself with the Mapbox API.

Using public data sources, I created this project which periodically pulls public (non-confidential) 911 dispatch call info, caches it in a database, and maps the 50 most recent calls by type.

The map and call list are updated in about as close to real time as possible.
